“Personal Branding” Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, April 2013
This is my current branding of my logo and shortened logo. This includes an updated business card (same front design, but added a back design), a folder with designed cover, stationary, and envelope.
This has been a long process to decide of a brand for myself as a designer, but I believe the colors and the tweet template suits me better than all my other designs. The blue signifies energy with a forever changing mood. My work and design are continuously changing and I believe this calm yet electrifying blue signifies that. The gray signifies the backbone. Everything has a starting point, stepping stone, or something that holds it together. That is why I chose this medium toned gray.
My official graphic design flyer shows my services and contact information. It will be given out to potential clients and current clients.
The design is a replica of my business card. It is fun, edgy, and serves its purpose to the audience looking for services from me in a larger print.
My business cards takes on the same effect as the entire branding. The color scheme is a gradient gray, white, and sky blue. The logo lines up with the twitter bio block. The business card is easy to read and includes e-mail, website, and phone number. My idea was to bring creativity and my interest in social media to my business card. The color scheme remains a sky blue with medium greyand white for the background. Interests and clients will start receiving this business card to replace my older one.
My eLearning Hub
“My eLearning Lab Web Banners”, Photoshop/Illustrator, Sept 9, 2015
My newest client wanted me to create for banners for her website: http://www.myelearninghub.com. The first banner is for users to join their marketplace. I made sure the elements matched the style of the website using blues, greens, and whites. The second banner is for users to shop for content such as, textbooks and supplies. I made sure this was directed to the community of people or a gathering of people. The third banner is simply for users to shop for their eBooks. I used green and yellowish orange for this to really attract users. The final banner is simply to become a partner. I kept it simple with little to no color so users can easily click and go to the next screen. For the typeface, I am using a simple Tahoma font.
“DJ Naeemk Logo”, Adobe Illustrator/Adobe Photoshop, July 25, 2014
The idea is clean and simple. The typography used is ITC Avant Garde but modified. I have created a half letter “D”. Both the D and the J are curved. The N and the A are connected. I erased the middle stem to the letter “A” for a more interesting design. I also created a circular logo combining the letter N and K. The black and white sets of the logo and design.

Indie Game Magazine, April 2014 Issue
The Indie Game Magazine, April 2014, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign
I was offered a project to help with the design of The Indie Game Magazine. The owner is Chris Newton. It is a combination of ideas to formulate a game magazine for gamers and other readers. Imagery and legibility are the top key features. There is a combination of blues, orange, and purples for the different sections of the magazine. The content is placed on a white background for easy readability and viewing.
Objective: To design an 80 page book using strong concept and visual language system. Approach: My concept is The Mechanical Beauty of Steampunk. I wanted to focus on giving the design a non-modern look, but still remaining true to the ideal todays world of design and minimalism. I purposefully wanted to stay away from the obvious and showing too many gears and machinery throughout the booklet. Instead, I wanted to focus on intricate details and ornamentation using detailed and elegant imagery to present what Steampunk is.
(AAU-graduate) ------------ This project is for GR 601 Type Systems class in the Graphic Design Graduate School of Academy of Art University. This project is simply for learning how to typeset numerous amounts of text. Some elements in this work may use purchased photos and Internet image resources. The copyright of those elements belongs to the original authors, and are credited. Credits page is added at the end of the booklet.

The project is for a client's real estate company. The type is set in Avenir light and the right design is vector shaped like an outline of a home. The idea is to provide a modern logo that takes on a minimalist approach while still retaining form and function. The idea is to utilize conceptual skills, formal skills, and research in order to achieve the final result of the logo.
